Zabriskie Point (1970, dir. Michelangelo Antonioni)

Named by critics as a 'failed attempt' of anti-establishment, counter culture movie, Antonioni's 'Zabriskie Point' is a story about an idealistic anthropology student Daria and a dropout revolutionary Mark. They are as alienated as the usual Antonioni's characters in L'avventula and L'Eclisse,
however, unlike those bored bourgeois with no desire, no hope, these two still own ability to dream. Moving the location from Europe to sunny and dry California worked very well too. It is a refreshing, meditative and sensual film.

It is funny to read some very emotional reaction of some critics..

Je n'ai jamais vu Blow up.
