This autobiographical novel by an American poet Sylvia Plath, who, irrespective of her talent, killed herself by putting her head into the burning gas oven at the age of 30 years old, illuminates itself even after more than 40 years of its publication. Very disturbing and negative, yet full of energy! We can't help but feeling something very punk in her uncompromising attitude.

Was she aware that killing herself would make her work recognized? How many men's works have been recognized after they passed away?
Elle était dépressive. Mais ses livres sont parus après sa mort, semble-t-il.
Je pense que sa mort était tres bien calculée. Elle voulait se tuer toute sa vie..
